Collection and use
We process the surname, gender, style preferences, avoided characters, and generation character you submit, plus optional birth date, time, location, and English name, to generate reports. We also process family votes, support correspondence, access records, and abuse-prevention records for collaboration, support, and service operation. Submit only family information you are authorized to provide. Our own statistics use daily aggregate counts. With your explicit permission only, we also use Google Analytics 4 for basic page visits. It can store analytics cookies and device identifiers and process data through Google. We do not send names, birth information, form inputs, URL queries or fragments to Google Analytics; page titles and referring URLs are omitted or replaced, and name-detail paths are grouped. Advertising features and enhanced measurement are disabled. Declining does not affect the service. Use Analytics preferences on a public page to change your choice or withdraw consent; withdrawal stops future collection and removes accessible analytics cookies on this website. Your choice is stored locally in this browser. Existing data is not retroactively erased by withdrawal.
Payments and hosting
Payments are processed by the payment platform Waffo (Waffo Hong Kong Limited) as the seller. We do not handle payment card numbers. Cloudflare hosts the website and project data. The payment platform handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
AI processing
Cloudflare Workers AI processes necessary material, such as candidate names and character meanings, to reword some text within established meanings and source references. Your data is not used to train AI models.
Retention
After successful payment, your project, report, and submitted information are retained, and your report link remains valid until you request deletion or a refund. Unpaid projects are deleted 90 days after creation; refunded projects are retained for 90 days from the refund date. When a retention period ends, access stops; deletion occurs when a later naming request triggers cleanup. Deleting a project invalidates its report, voting, and certificate links.
Deletion and contact
For deletion or questions about data handling, use the support email in the footer to send your request and help us verify project ownership. Do not email payment card numbers or full birth details. Report links grant access to private content; keep them safe.
